About Ayutthaya Grand Pearl River Cruise Tour with International Buffet
Start your day in the early hours. Head to the River City shopping complex at 6:00 am to prepare for your early pickup. Explore the centre and let your morning energy sink in while your guide arrives for a comfortable pickup in an AC van. While you settle on your one-and-a-half-hour ride from Bangkok to Bang Pa-In from 7.30 am to 9.00 am, please get to know more about the history of Ayutthaya and the critical historical places from our tour guide. Once you arrive in Bang Pa-In, we will head to the Summer Palace of King Rama V to witness a mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture. The palace is a visual spectacle built by numerous rulers and wealthy merchants. After exploring Bang Pa-In, we head to the historical capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya. Explore three of the most essential and inspiring temples of Ayutthaya, namely, Wat Mahatad, the great temple that served as the royal monastery and the residence of the supreme monk; Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the largest and one of the oldest temples that served as the residential palace during the ancient times and finally Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, that houses a large Buddha image cast from bronze. After an ancient tour, we head for the afternoon cruise in the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner to sail across the Chao Phraya River and soak in the evening sun as you sip your coffee and witness Bangkok city.
