About Kanchanaburi Tour: Tiger Cave Temple, Death Railway and Elephant Sanctuary

Pack up for a day filled with some history, culture, and spirituality lessons. After a comfortable ride through the city to Kanchanaburi, we head to our first destination, the Tiger Cave Temple or "Wat Than Suae". A temple with picturesque cave complexes and rich ancient artefacts is set in the backdrop of the stunning landscape. It is an integration of spirituality, art, and natural beauty. After the spiritual encounter, we head to the Death Railway (the Thai-Burma Railway), built by the POWs during the war. A place that holds historical significance and sacrifices. From here, you shall embark on the third-class train ride to Tham Krasae, where we shall explore the magnificence of the River Kwai. Later, we stopped for a quick lunch at local restaurants and headed to the ethical elephant sanctuary for a fun interaction with the giant babies. Then, we bid goodbye to the fantastic day and headed to our meeting point.

09:00 am. Visit The Tiger Cave Temple or "Wat Than Suae" The temple is celebrated for its captivating cave complex, religious artefacts, and serene ambience. Its integration of spirituality, art, and natural beauty
10:30 am. Head to the Death Railway (also known as the Thai-Burma Railway) built by the POW during the war. From here, you will ride third class on the train to Tham Krasae*. Once there, let's cross the bridge over the Kwai River to see the gorgeous view. *Your local expert may not accompany you on the train ride sometimes, though they will pick you up at Tham Krasae.
Noon. Let's grab a local lunch together. Afterwards, we'll visit an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you can care for the lovely elephants and learn about their rescue efforts.5:00 pm.: It's time to head back to Bangkok.
