About Full-Day Hanoi City Tour with Vietnamese Lunch & Transfer

Have you ever been to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam? It's a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture, offering many things to do in Hanoi. You can explore the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, or indulge in delicious street food. Don't forget to check out the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and the iconic Hanoi Opera House. Hanoi truly has something for everyone!
Our first stop will be Tran Quoc Pagoda, which has been around for 1500 years - isn't that incredible? You'll love the peaceful landscape of the West Lake and the majestic architecture of the pagoda. Next up, we'll visit the Complex of President Ho Chi Minh, where you'll learn about our great leader's simple life. We'll also stop by One Pillar Pagoda, which is one of the symbols of Hanoi. Remember that if you're here on a Monday or Friday, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum will be closed, but we'll still see it from the outside. Afterwards, we'll head to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, where you'll experience indoor and outdoor exhibitions. The museum is fascinating because it models the traditional architecture of ethnic minorities, especially those who live in the Northern and Central highlands. We'll take a lunch break at a local restaurant where you can try some delicious traditional dishes. Then, we'll continue our tour and visit the Literature Temple - Imperial Academy, the first university in Vietnam. You won't miss valuable highlight objects like the Literature Lake, Khue Van Pavilion, and Stele House. Lastly, we'll visit Hoa Lo Prison, built during the French Empire and now a museum. It's also known as the Hanoi Hilton, which is ironic.
At the end of our tour, we'll head back to your hotel in the Old Quarter. But if you're up for it, you can book an extra option with a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter and Sword Lake at your own expense. Or, you can experience the water puppet show at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre - the performance schedule may change depending on the specific period. Happy Journey!
