The world's highest commercial bungy jump. The world's highest skywalk. These are not marketing superlatives — they are Guinness World Records set at Skypark Macau by AJ Hackett, the adventure park perched on the outer rim of Macau Tower at 233 metres above the city.

Founded by bungee pioneer Alan John Hackett — who personally set the world record here in 2007 — Skypark Macau offers four adrenaline experiences: Bungy Jump, Skyjump, Skywalk, and Tower Climb. All include Macau Tower Observation Deck admission. Every activity comes with a full media package of HD photos, HD video, and GoPro footage. Book your Skypark Macau tickets on Thrillark.

About Skypark Macau by AJ Hackett

Alan John Hackett invented commercial bungee jumping. In 2007, he came to Macau Tower, rigged a platform at 233 metres, and jumped — setting the Guinness World Record for the world's highest commercial bungee jump. That record still stands. And you can match it

The Bungy Jump is the headline act: a 4–5 second free fall at up to 200 km/h, plunging towards the city before the 50-metre bungy cord stretches and rebounds you 30 metres above the ground. The experience is measured in seconds, but the memory lasts considerably longer. For those for whom a bungy is a step too far, the Skyjump offers an alternative: a 17-second controlled descent using specifically designed wires rather than an elastic cord. Slower, more sustained, and — some would argue — giving you more time to actually process where you are and what you're doing.

The Skywalk is accessible to a wider range of visitors and is genuinely extraordinary on its own terms. You walk the outer rim of the tower — a 1.8-metre-wide path with no handrail — at 233 metres, fully harnessed to a safety rail overhead. The path circles the tower, giving you a 360° walking view of Macau from the outside of the building. Children as young as 6 can participate with a parent, and the Family Skywalk package caters explicitly for this. The Tower Climb takes the truly committed to the absolute top of the tower — up the mast above the observation deck to the highest accessible point in Macau. Book your Skypark activity on Thrillark.

Insiders' Tips

Check in at the AJ Hackett ticket office on Level T2 at least 30 minutes before your reserved time — registration, weighing, and briefing all take time. Evening activities (from 6:00 PM in winter, 7:30 PM in summer) offer the extraordinary experience of jumping or walking above Macau's illuminated night skyline — highly recommended if you can manage the timing. The Skywalk is the best starting point for first-timers or those unsure about the full bungy experience — it's accessible to most fitness levels and still genuinely thrilling. All activities are weather-dependent; typhoon signal 3 or above results in cancellation.

Skypark Macau by AJ Hackett  Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Macau Bungy Jump really the world's highest?
Yes — the Guinness World Record for the world's highest commercial bungy jump was set at Macau Tower in 2007 by AJ Hackett founder Alan John Hackett himself. At 233 metres (764 feet), this record still stands. When you jump from the same platform, you are matching that record.
What is the difference between the Bungy Jump and Skyjump?
The Bungy Jump is a 4–5 second free fall using an elastic bungy cord — you plunge at up to 200 km/h and rebound back up. The Skyjump is a 17-second controlled descent using specialist wires — you fall at a slower, steadier speed. The Skyjump is often described as having more time to absorb the view; the Bungy is more intense and instantaneous.
Can children do the Skywalk?
Yes — the Skywalk has no minimum age requirement, provided the harness fits securely. Children as young as 6 years old have participated. The Family Skywalk package includes 2 adults and 1 child under 12. Children under 18 require written parental consent, and the parent or guardian must be present at check-in to sign the waiver.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Activities are suspended when Typhoon Signal 3 or above is hoisted in Macau. If your activity is cancelled due to weather, you will be offered a rescheduled session or a full refund.
