About ARTIS Royal Zoo Tickets

Arrive early and head straight to the elephants — mornings are the best time to see the newborn calves, Mook Uhm and Yuki, when they’re most active. Plan your day around the keeper talks, with elephants at 1:45 PM and gorillas at 2:45 PM, for the most engaging animal moments.

- ARTIS grounds are for the most part, accessible to wheelchair, walker and mobility scooter users. Only the entrance to the Japanese Garden is less accessible to wheelchairs.

- Assistance dogs are permitted, they need to be registered at the ticket office upon presentation of a dog identification card showing that the dog has been trained
