About The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum Ticket
The museum's collection spans the full breadth of Japanese baseball culture — NPB team memorabilia from all 12 current clubs, historic uniforms and equipment from celebrated eras of professional baseball, Koshien high school tournament artefacts, women's baseball displays, Olympic baseball history, and an extraordinary series of items documenting the deeply intertwined relationship between Japanese and American baseball. Babe Ruth's 1934 Japan tour poster, bats used by Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron, a cap worn by Ken Griffey Jr, tickets to historic Japan-US exhibition games, and extensive collections of Ichiro Suzuki and Shohei Ohtani memorabilia all appear alongside Japan's own legends — Sadaharu Oh, Shigeo Nagashima, and Randy Bass among them. Ichiro Suzuki was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 2025, adding his name to the Hall of Plaques alongside the greatest players in the game's Japanese history.
The museum is navigable in approximately one hour for casual visitors, and two hours or more for those who want to absorb every exhibit. An English-language map and guide are provided at the entrance and QR codes throughout the exhibits link to English-language explanations — making it far more accessible for international visitors than the predominantly Japanese labelling suggests. A small theatre screens footage from classic Japanese baseball games, and the interactive virtual batting exhibit allows visitors to face digital pitches from legendary Japanese players. Insiders' Tips
Pick up the English-language map at the entrance before starting and use the QR codes throughout the exhibits — without them, many exhibits are Japanese-language only and important context is easily missed. The Hall of Plaques room is the most atmospheric section of the entire museum — allowing time to browse the inductees at a relaxed pace rather than rushing through to the memorabilia displays. If you are visiting on a Tokyo Dome game day, the museum stays open until 6:00 PM
