Download the free Louvre Abu Dhabi app before you arrive — it works as a full multimedia guide to every artwork in the galleries. The "rain of light" effect beneath the dome is most dramatic between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM when sunlight filters through the 7,850 stars at its best angle. After gallery closing, the dome and waterfront promenades are free to access with no ticket required — a stunning way to end the evening.

- Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- Mondays closed.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the museum. Large bags and handbags are not allowed. Flash photography is prohibited.
- Respectful clothing is recommended. As the museum maintains a cool temperature, carrying a stole or scarf is advisable, especially for children.
- Eligibility: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Those under 18 years of age can enter for free.
- A maximum of four admission tickets may be booked per visit day.
- The Children's Museum is currently closed.
- Free wheelchairs and strollers are available at the loan desk.
- Free entry is available for UAE senior nationals (60+), Art Club members with one guest, Student & Teacher Pass holders, ICOM/ICOMOS cardholders, journalists, and People of Determination with one companion.
