3. Taxis in Dubai

Fortunately, cab rates for all the taxi companies in Dubai are the same as they are controlled by the RTA ( UAE Govt.). In case, you urgently need a cab, you can call the RTA for a cab ( 8009090) but the taxi fare would be high. Keep in mind that the minimum wage to pay to travel anywhere is AED 12. Taxis outside the airport follow the meter system, starting at AED 25.
