The fact that it has won multiple awards for its finesse only adds to its charm. You get to taste both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food here, making it apt for almost everyone. The rustic vibe and mouth-watering dishes make an excellent combo, don’t they? Some of the top dishes here include the famous Divan Handi Ghost, mango lassi, Ghost Angar,  mutton biryani, and tikkas. The restaurant is open from 12:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon and then again from 6 pm to 12 am. 200 AED is the approximate price of the food for two people here.

 

2. Rang Mahal

If culinary extravaganza is what you are looking for, then I highly recommend the Royal Rang Mahal restaurant located in the JV Marriot Marquis Hotel. The best part about the restaurant apart from the tasty food, is that it is prepared by a Michelin-star chef! Now you can rest assured that there won’t be any compromise in the taste of the food. The place is open from 6 pm to 11:30 pm, and you can access it any day. The best dishes of Rang Mahal include soft shell crabs, Keema toast, and fish fry. The approximate price for dining here for two people is around 455 AED.

 

3. Rangoli

Anybody who loves absolutely traditional and authentic Indian food must visit Rangoli restaurant when they are in Dubai. There are only a few other places across the globe that provide such tasty dishes with a focus on Gujarathi cuisine. The only other place where you can get true taste of this particular cuisine is Gujarat itself. This exquisite restaurant is located in Meena Bazaar of Burj Dubai and is open from 9 am to 11:30 pm every day. Now, this is a pure vegetarian restaurant where you get a chance to taste dishes like Gujarathi Thaali, pani puri, and other authentic north and south Indian dishes for just 85 AED for two people.

 

4. Indigo by Vineet

As the name suggests, this restaurant is owned by Chef Vineet Bhatia, who is a Michelin-star chef. The interesting part about the restaurant is its interior design, which stays true to its Indian roots. You can see decor items fashioned based on gendha phool and Indian Gods. The restaurant is open from 7 pm in the evening to 12 am every day, and you get a chance to taste some of the tastiest Indian dishes like the kebab platter, butter chicken, and the very famous Indian samosa. The restaurant is located in Dubai Marina, and you can access the food here at 650 AED for two people.

 

5. India Palace Restaurant

Nothing screams regal more than the Indian Palace Restaurant. It started operating in Dubai in the year 1997 and is a combination of Mughlai and Indian dishes. There is a slight emphasis given to North-West Indian dishes here, including the cuisines of places like Rajasthan and Gujarat. The food is served in clay pots to add to the authenticity. You can find all kinds of grilled food delicacies and biriyanis here for just 180 AED for two people. The restaurant is open from 12 pm in the afternoon till 12 pm in the evening, so you won’t miss it, surely.

 

6. Zafran Indian Bistro

Want to try something a bit different from the traditional Indian recipes? How about contemporary Indian dishes, then? If that’s what you are looking for, then do not miss Zafran Indian Bistro. They specialize in serving contemporary Indian food, especially from the northwestern part of India. The restaurant is located in the vicinity of the Dubai Marina Mall and offers some Pakistani delicacies as well. The best-selling dishes of Zafran Indian Bistro include Feta and Rocket, Laal Maas, Tandoori, Butter Chicken, and Kebab. The price here is between 150 and 190 AED for two people.

 

7. Calicut Notebook Restaurant

If authentic South Indian dishes are what you are after, make sure to visit the Calicut Notebook Restaurant. Located near the busy United Hypermarket, this restaurant has a cozy and homely vibe to it. Along with traditional South Indian dishes like appam, you also get access to parathas, Thia prawns, and chilly chicken. 115 AED for two people is the price range to dine here.

 

8. Kamat Restaurant

As a 100% vegetarian restaurant, Kamat has been the recipient of tons of food honors in the past years. They specialize in Indian and often Chinese cuisine and are open from 9 am to 11 pm. The price for two people to eat at Kamat Restaurant is 95 AED.

 

9. Maharaj Bhog

A fan of the Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine? Maharaj Bhog is your man, then. With star dishes like Rajasthani thali and dal thadka included in its list of exquisite food, this famous Indian restaurant is a favorite spot for all vegetarian foodies. For just 90 AED for two people, this restaurant falls into a more affordable price range.

 

10. Yellow Chilli

Mughlia delicacies have always been a sweet spot for all food lovers out there. Owned by the famous chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Yellow Chilli specializes in the best Mughlai cuisine. Most authentic Indian food has a twist of Noth-Western aspect to them, and all the ingredients used to make these dishes are 100% locally sourced. The star dishes include tawa chicken biryani, mutton handi, and strawberry mojito. 120 AED is the price for two people to eat here.
