About Keukenhof Tulip Garden Amsterdam
Keukenhof is a Dutch word that literally translates to "kitchen garden" and that’s what the place used to be where the Duchess of Bavaria would gather fruits, vegetables, and herbs from this garden for her castle's kitchen. Today These romantic fields of tulips in Keukenhof are one of the largest flower gardens in the world with over 7 different gardens. The place is bursting with colors during the spring season. Take a walk around Keukenhof to see the 32-hectare park filled with vibrant little flowers and fragrances. The park is designed to give each species of flowers a space to shine, with its own unique design and color palette. Some of the popular themes you will see are, the English Landscape Garden, the Japanese Country Garden, and ofcourse, the Romantic Garden.
And while you are there, you can also see the various flower shows at the pavilions where you can learn the latest trends in gardening or get new ideas while you take part in activities that are available at the Gardens.
